All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat. I specify as many dimensions in the descriptions as possible because vintage clothes do not correspond directly with modern sizes. I do estimate the modern sizes but please ensure that you check all dimensions carefully before placing your order. To determine your size choose something that you already own and fits you well, lay it flat, and measure as described below.

Length - taken from the shoulder to the hem
Bust - taken from armpit to armpit

Length - taken from top of the collar
Shoulder - taken from seam to seam
Sleve - taken on the outside of the sleeve from the shoulder seam to cuff
Bust / chest - taken from armpit to armpit

Length - taken from the top of the waistband to the hem
Waist - taken across the front at the waistline

Inseam - taken from the crotch seam to the bottom of the trouser leg
Waist - taken across the front at the waistline
